Psychology Faculty and Alum Publish Chapter in Revisiting the Classics Book Series
Professor Heather Smith and Stephanie McKee (Department of Psychology alum, PhD) published a chapter in "Revisiting the Classic Studies of Political Psychology". Sage editors designed this book series to introduce students (and others) to classic research studies that changed how scholars think about a particular topic. This chapter reviews a 1980s study of unemployed Australians that changed how social scientists thought about how perceptions of undeserved relative disadvantage motivate collective action.
