SSU Music Student Featured in Local News for Jazz Residency
On September 11, The Sonoma Index Tribune published an article highlighting a Sonoma State music student for landing a jazz residency at a local wine bar and live music venue.
Under the name "Joe Campbell Quartet", SSU student Joe Campbell, joined by Philippe Vieux, Ben Prentice, and Trevor Kinsel, will be performing at Parkside Wine Bar in Sonoma on September 25th starting at 5:30pm.
The article states, "Our local four-year, Rohnert Park-based institution of higher learning, Sonoma State University, has a top-notch Jazz Studies program and draws eager young musicians from all over the western region of the United States to its music studios."
