Visiting Artist Lecture: Mitsu Okubo

Mitsu Okubo is a San Francisco-based artist, illustrator and printmaker known for blending  humor with institutional critique. His art and apparel focus on overconsumption and cultural commentary, exploring the structures that shape society. From prints to artist-designed t-shirts, Mitsu’s playful designs provide a unique perspective. His work is featured in notable collections like MoMA, SFMOMA, and the Whitney.

You are warmly invited to attend the Visiting Artist Lecture Series hosted by the Art Studio program. All talks are in Art 102 (unless otherwise specified) from noon to 12:50 p.m. and are open to the public.
