Global Studies Teach-Out Advising Plan

GLBL Teach-Out Advising Plan

Advising for Global Studies Majors

Global Studies majors will be given priority registration for Spring 2026 and are strongly encouraged to register during the priority period. Review your ARR before registration begins. If you have questions about what to take, please meet with your faculty advisor, Professor Rheyna Laney ([email protected]) early. Additional course options will become available for Spring 2026 through CSU Fully Online and enrollment dates for Spring 2026 will be provided when they become available. Consult with Professor Rheyna Laney before registering for CSU Fully Online courses you plan to count toward your Global Studies major.

Advising for Global Studies Minors

Global Studies minors who can complete the minor coursework during the teach-out will receive their minor. Please meet with your faculty advisor, Professor Rheyna Laney ([email protected]) early to determine your path to complete the minor requirements.

Advising Questions

Current students should direct advising questions to Professor Rheyna Laney ([email protected]) or Professor Daniel Soto ([email protected]), chair of the Department of Human and Environmental Sciences.

Global Studies Courses

Global Studies majors and minors should prioritize taking Global Studies capstone classes during FA25 and SP26.

Please meet with the Global Studies faculty advisor, Professor Rhyena Laney, to set up your internship or to discuss the other coursework required for the Perspectives and Electives areas of the major.
