Advising for the History MA

History MA students will be given priority registration for Spring 2026 and are strongly encouraged to register during the priority period. Review your ARR before registration begins. If you have questions about what to take, please meet with your faculty advisor, Professor Michelle Jolly ([email protected]) early. Additional course options will become available for Spring 2026 through CSU Fully Online and enrollment dates for Spring 2026 will be provided when they become available. Consult with Professor Michelle Jolly before registering for CSU Fully Online courses you plan to count toward your History MA.

Advising Questions

The history faculty are committed to ensuring that History MA students will continue to receive the same support that they currently receive while working on their thesis during the teach-out period. Current History MA students should direct advising questions to Professor Michelle Jolly ([email protected]) or Professor Samuel Cohen ([email protected]), chair of the Department of History and Politics.

History MA students should prioritize taking History classes during AY25/26 and AY26/27.
